Robin Shane is without a doubt one of my favorite costume designers to work with. She
does an enormous amount of dramaturgical research before she starts to design. She
understands play development and structure and always has incredibly insightful things
to say about the piece. I learn a tremendous amount from her every time we work
together. She is poised, professional, and smart. She is kind, thoughtful, and incredibly
collaborative. Actors love the way she goes above and beyond to make them
